Just Start
Who am I to say I’m not ready?
Have you ever had the idea of starting a project or new initiative or for that matter a business and always had an excuse or reason why now wasn’t the right time? Me too. This company was that exact excuse and reason. I thought even with all my years of research and study that I wasn’t ready. That my company name couldn’t be the best or that I didn’t know enough about business law or have a fancy office to bring clients to yet. What’s ironic is thinking about Google getting started in a garage. So who am I to say I’m not ready? Recently that was all put in to perspective with the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic and the loss of my beloved marketing job for all the wrong reasons.
I thought to myself, fancy office or not, I’m doing this! Trust me I had encouragement from loved ones to take the leap of faith on myself, and sure it wasn’t easy, but you’ll never know until you try. You can’t possibly fail if you never begin so here I am guns blazing ready to take over the event management world with a flare of photography in there because hell, I’m good at it!
Overthinking the idea can be killer, and not in the good way. So as I put my insecurities aside I hope you find the strength to ‘Just Start’ whatever ambition you’ve been too nervous to go for.
